This is a detailed look at AI tools in film and broadcast post-production workflows, with practical examples of AI reducing time and improving quality and how it is used. The second presentation, What Happens When you Combine 35mm Film with LED-Volume, is from Sebastian Burk, of Stuttgart Media University. How does one integrate film into an entirely digital production environment with synchronization, colour calibration and monitoring, and how can celluloid film benefit moire, colour rendition and the overall look on the other hand?

Lastly, I will present Security4Media, an association for media and vendors that we just created to reduce cyber risks by providing audits and pen-testing services, and that will act as a vulnerability numbering authority (CNA) for Media.

Next, Dr. Anil Bas, Research Fellow at Bournemouth University, will introduce Gaussian Splatting, a state-of-the-art development in 3D reconstruction. He will break down its key principles, showcase its applications—particularly in 3D mesh extraction—and highlight open challenges and future research directions.
